Considering my capability to overdo food I like, oddly: no. There are things my taste buds no longer like as much, but it's never due to eating too much of them. The only drink is Monster and similar energy drinks, and that's not really due to a taste thing, but because they give me palpitations.
I had a tuna melt for lunch, felt iffy that evening, into A&E next morning with a completely unrelated appendicitis...and I haven't had a tuna melt since.
WRT the overdoing it though, Bacardi and vodka. Yuck.
I had a seafood platter in France about 20 years ago and that’s how I discovered I’m intolerant to anything with a shell. I was very ill for a couple of days, and have difficultly eating anything reminiscent of the sea without feeling ill. Fresh caught white fish is my limit. Kiwis. Drink wise can’t tolerate tequila. Or clear spirits. Gluten free beers and expensive whiskey or brandy, and the occasional sherry are my poisons of choice.
